Marcus Alexander grew up in Ängelholm, Sweden with his family of musicians. He started playing the piano at a young age, and picking up the guitar at 14 was his first step towards becoming a singer-songwriter.
Marcus Alexander studied at the Swedish music gymnasium Mega Musik in Helsingborg. After living a few years in Malta, writing his first songs and playing at open mic nights at Casey’s Bar regularly, and also after becoming a partnered Twitch music streamer, he decided to really pursue his music dreams in 2013, and thus moved back to Sweden, just after releasing his first single.
In 2017 Marcus Alexander moved to Gothenborg and released his debut album, Journey, that he had worked on for about a year. It finally came together with the help of Alexander Asp (and Rexius Records), his friends Nikos Taramanidis (@theguitarbaron) and Linus Blad.
Marcus Alexander is currently living in Barcelona since mid of 2018, playing music and getting inspired.
