Suvi Honkanen

Suvi Honkanen is a Finnish actress based is Helsinki/Los Angeles-based actress, bilingual in Finnish and English. After working as a professional dancer at Finnish National Ballet for almost a decade, Suvi transitioned into acting full-time and has since appeared in feature films Silent Life, The Killers, Majestic, and MCHelper BeKings. Suvi studied acting at UCLA, American Arts, TV, and Film Academy, Chekhov International, and at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting.
Her most recent work includes the main role in the film “Vain Toinen Meistä”, premiering on YLE Areena in the summer of 2023 as well as Utu, the little sister in the film “Metsänpeitto”.
In addition to performing with the Finnish National Ballet for ten years, Suvi has been part of theater productions Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, and Grease at the Manhattan School of Arts. She won the Award of Merit for the leading actress at the 2020 Indie Fest in CA.
