Timo Teern

 

Timo is an international actor trained at the renowned Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. He is experienced in the UK and Finland working on both stage and screen.​

An example of his screen work includes the Emmy nominee series “Wingman” prod. YLE, “FAST” prod. Yellow Film & TV and Rose d’Or nominee “Stop Nyqvist” prod. YLE.

His stage work includes plays like “Picnic” by William Inge, “A Bright Room Called Day” by Tony Kushner, and “As You Like It” by William Shakespeare.

His voice work includes Winter War stories for War and Peace Museum Muisti, the radio drama “Kallion Kimppa” for YLE, and bed time stories for Night Night’s website.

Timo is a tall broad-shouldered actor with a strong stage and screen presence. He brings his characters across with expressiveness but as truthful and natural human beings. His typecasting is characters with authority or fragility. E.g. Russian ex-KGB or a simple-minded lonely man, looking for the love of his life.

Timo speaks Finnish, English, Estonian, and Russian. He is trained by the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat in three weapons and he is skilled in bass guitar and singing.

Timo is gaining momentum in the industry and he is constantly training to improve. He is hungry for exciting new opportunities to tackle and astounding stories to tell.
